Description
The Spyderco Canis C248CFP is a large and solid pocket knife. Designed by Kelly McCann. Kelly McCann is one of the world’s leading experts when it comes to anti-terrorism , close combat and many more. He used this knowledge to design the Spyderco Canis. The result is an impressive knife for both daily tasks and self-defence.
The wharncliffe-style blade is made from CPM S30V steel. A robust type of steel that can handle its own and retains its sharpness well. Spyderco enhanced the blade with a high, large swedge to save weight. The grind of the blade isn’t very high to make sure the steel is extra thick behind the edge. It makes the Canis extra robust. When opened Spyderco’s own Compression Lock locks the blade. This is a rock-solid lock you control on the spine of the handle.
The handle is made from a laminate of G10 and a thin layer of carbon fibre. The handle is enhanced with royal curves for optimal grip and excellent ergonomics.
