The Spyderco Yojimbo 2 Black C85GPBBK2 is a characteristic pocket knife and a classic in Spyderco’s production line. The Yojimbo 2 was designed by Michael Janich. He is a respected expert in the field of self-defence.
The hollow-grind blade with typical Wharncliffe shape is locked by a solid compression lock when opened. A lock we have seen before on the popular Paramilitary 2. This lock is similar to a linerlock. The difference, however, is that you can unlock it on the spine of the handle. The blade of the Spyderco Yojimbo 2 is made from CPM S30V-steel. A stainless type of steel that is very popular amongst enthusiasts. This version of the Yojimbo 2 is enhanced with a black DLC coating. This doesn’t only look great, it also prevents rust on the blade.
The handle is made from G10. This material is enhanced with a light texture for additional grip. The stainless steel liners on the inside were kept as compact as possible and were milled in the G10. As such the knife weighs next to nothing. The pocket clip can be attached in four ways. It truly is a friend to all.
