Description
The Viper Lille 1 Carbon Fiber Arctic Storm is a cool EDC fixed knife, designed by Jesper Voxnaes. This knife maker is known all over the world for his functional, ergonomic and friendly-looking knives. The Viper Lille 1 is no exception. We have seen the design before, then as a pocket knife and now as a relatively compact fixed blade. The difference to the Lille 2 is in the blade shape. The Lille 1 features a droppoint blade shape.
The blade is made from Elmax steel. This type of powder steel grade is favoured for its all-round good qualities. It’s corrosion resistant, has an amazing sharpness retention, it’s easy to sharpen and can handle its own. The blade has a thin grind along the entire blade length of 6.5 cm. As a result, the blade cuts through soft materials extremely smoothly. Furthermore, the blade features coarse jimping on the back, allowing you to apply more pressure to the blade, perfect for tougher cutting jobs.
The knife is very ergonomic. The curves in the handle provide a comfortable grip, while the curves in the blade ensure excellent cutting capabilities. With your index finger in the recess and your thumb on the back of the blade, you have a lot of control while cutting. This firm grip is useful for precise cutting tasks.
